Glystn MCP Server

Give Claude, Claude Code, or any MCP-compatible assistant Glystn's social intelligence tools: search what creators say in Instagram and TikTok videos, size topics, and research creators.

Server URL: https://app.glystn.com/api/mcp (Streamable HTTP)

Connect by signing in with your Glystn account (OAuth). There's no key to copy or rotate, and tool calls draw from your Glystn credits. For clients that can't sign in, see API keys & code.

Claude (web, desktop, mobile)

  1. Open Customize → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Glystn and enter https://app.glystn.com/api/mcp. Leave the OAuth client fields empty.
  3. Click Connect and sign in with your Glystn account.

Works on every Claude plan.

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http glystn https://app.glystn.com/api/mcp

Then run /mcp, pick glystn, and sign in.

Other MCP clients

Add a remote MCP server with the server URL. Clients that support MCP authorization discover the sign-in flow automatically:

  • A request without credentials gets 401 with WWW-Authenticate: Bearer resource_metadata="https://app.glystn.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/api/mcp".
  • That document names the authorization server. Sign-in uses OAuth 2.1 authorization code + PKCE (S256), with the MCP server URL as the resource.
  • Clients are identified with a Client ID Metadata Document (CIMD). Dynamic client registration is not enabled; if your client needs it, use an API key.

What your assistant gets

  • Tools: 8 read-only tools (see Tools). Each is annotated readOnlyHint: true, so assistants can run them without a confirmation prompt.
  • Prompts: ready-made starting points in the assistant's prompt menu (see Prompts).
  • Instructions: a short description of how the tools fit together, sent when the assistant connects.

Billing

Each tool call draws from your Glystn credit pool, the same one the app uses, and is unlimited on unlimited plans. Prompts, tool listing, and sign-in are free.
